Abstract

 The etymological differences of the concepts of folk, traditional, alternative and complementary medicine discussed. Reflexotherapy Reflexology is regarded as a modern successor Zhenjiu and fully meets the princi-ples of 4P medicine. In the context of complementary medicine instead of used in the English language litera-ture the term "reflexology" should apply the term "reflexotherapy". The author's definitions of "complementary medicine" and "reflexotherapy" presented. The principles of classification of reflex diagnostics and therapy and their nomenclature formulated.
